Yes, these are the steps that must be taken in order to receive a reimbursement when working with a dealer outside of the Velocare service center network:
- Take your bike into your local or preferred shop and request a repair estimate
- Submit the repair estimate to email@example.com and we will confirm what is or is not approved. We will then contact the shop to check to see if they have any issue with us reimbursing them directly. If they prefer to not work directly with us, we will then reimburse you after the approved work is completed.
- Once the repairs are complete, the shop needs to provide you with a receipt showing ONLY the items and labor we have pre-approved.
- Submit this receipt to firstname.lastname@example.org for reimbursement from our underwriter, this may take up to 2 weeks. Please note that ANY other parts or service charges need to be rung up separately or the receipt cannot be submitted for reimbursement.
Notice: Receipts that contain unapproved items or labor that are not covered will be rejected. It is imperative that items approved by Velocare are isolated to a separate receipt.
